Start Your Transformation Now In this episode, I go in a few different places…which is not new. I’m doing another episode on attention and I know you’ve heard me say, “You are where your attention is.” The motivation for the episode is that I got the first iTunes review less than five stars in a long time. As I read the review my first thought was, “Yes, XYZ about the podcast bothers her because that’s where her attention is.” So, the motivation for this episode is that three-star review. Thank you three-star review person! Ok, so back to attention. Let’s dig into two kinds of attention, Petty annoyances and 2) Life circumstances. When it comes to petty annoyances we often let the most ridiculous things annoy us: The way someone smacks their food, the way someone brushes their teeth, the way someone says particular words and the list goes on. You get the point and what are your petty annoyances? Next up is life circumstances. I’ll keep this simple: Where you are in all areas of life is a reflection of where you have held your attention. Of course, it’s not “one-time” attention and for many, it’s a lifetime accumulation of attention. Your wealth, health, and relationship status are all a reflection of your attention and if you want to create more in life you must move your attention to that. You must keep your attention on the things that you want, not the things that you do not want because when you focus on what you do not want you just create more of that. So, want to know where you have held your attention for maybe months or years or decades? Look at the circumstances of your life. These are what your attention has created. Transformational Takeaway: See things as you want them to be, not as they are. Let's Connect: Instagram Facebook YouTube LinkedIn LIKED THE EPISODE?
