Ep 256: How Your Identity Is A Self-Fulfilling Prophecy

Start Your Transformation Now We’ve all heard it a bazillion times from our parents,”Live up to your potential.” How often do you think, “I could do so much more in life? I could be more. I could have more, but for some reason, something stops me. No matter what I do, I keep failing and falling short of what I want.” Many of us can relate to the above. As a kid, my parents often berated me for not living up to my potential. I often got in trouble for my grades in math. I made As and Bs in all my other subjects, but I struggled with math. My dad often chastised me for not “living up to my potential” in math and school. Well, as I talk about in this episode, it had nothing to do with my intelligence or potential. My challenges in school were related to my subconscious identity. And, it does not matter if it’s school, our body, health, money, or relationships…all of these life areas are bound not by our potential but by our self-image. You have the potential to pretty much have anything you want in life, and if you don’t have it, it’s not because you’re not good enough, smart enough, or whatever, it’s because it’s not in your subconscious identity. If you want more in life, you must be more subconsciously. However you “see yourself” subconsciously, rest assured that will play out over and over in your life like a self-fulfilling prophecy unless you change your mental programming. Transformational Takeaway: Before you can have whatever you want in your life, you must first have it in your mind. Mentioned Resources: EPISODE 255: Do You Value Your Value?
