TJHP EP034 -  This weeks episode of The Junior Hockey Podcast, TDC and Gresko talk with Chris Cerrella, who is the Head Coach and General Manager of the Back to Back Eastern Hockey League Champions, the New Hampshire Avalanche. Chris has not only been able to put together Championship caliber teams over the past two years, but has also had a ton of success throughout his entire coaching career. He helped jump start the Walpole Express back in 2005, then helped rebuild the Hartford Junior Wolfpack in 2012. He has personally placed over 120 Junior Hockey players into College and has had a huge part in the success of Junior Hockey on the east coast. Chris has not only stamped his existence in the Junior Hockey world, but also had a pretty stellar playing career. He played in the USHL, then continued his career at Quinnipiac University playing NCAA hockey. Then ultimately hanging up his skates after playing 4 years of professional hockey in the ECHL, CHL, and UHL. We had a great conversation with Chris and he shared a ton of insight into the past and current Junior Hockey Landscape and what has changed. He also discussed a wide range of topics on what it takes to get into Junior Hockey and be a successful player.
