BREENA MARTINEZ-NO SUCH THING AS LUCK

Breena Martinez has a goal of inspiring women exploring fitness, so they learn lasting physical change comes after a mental and emotional choice. At the 2020 Mr. Olympia, an event she has qualified for every year since 2014, she placed 10th in the world. Going into her 7th year as a veteran of the bikini bodybuilding division, her approach and core beliefs have shifted dramatically. The approach Breena takes is centered around Jesus Christ. Currently she is one of the Women’s Ministry Group Leaders and someone who volunteers regularly for events at The Grove in Chandler, AZ. While competing in a subjective sport which requires being judged and changing a lifestyle to be one of the best in the world, it can be tricky to navigate how Jesus and God is part of her life, but she is able to explain her process as she is living through it now. She is constantly learning and growing and being able to share her experience may shed light on a new perspective. As a walk-on scholarship athlete to the Women’s SJSU basketball team, she took her work ethic and love for sports and health, to a career that spoke to her everyday passion. Her personal training journey started at UFC Gym as a Personal Trainer in Concord, CA. In a span of three years, she grew to become one of the most successful Personal Trainers in the company and regularly generated over $100k in annual revenue.
