The Religion That is Pride Month

The Kingdom Home Podcast - A podcast by Michelle Maddox & Allison Trowbridge

The month of June is to the LGBTQ+ community what the month of December is to the Christian community, a month of celebration and sacred religious tradition in worship to their deity. But do they even realize it? On this episode Allison & Michelle discuss the uprising that took place in June 1969 that led to gay liberation and what is now known as Pride Month. The event was a rebirth to the sacred rituals to the goddess Ishtar of ancient Mesopotamia. The tale of two kingdoms are clearly distinct, and what should our response be as ambassadors for the Kingdom of Heaven? It's the great commission. Go into all the world and tell them the good news of Christ crucified. We must never forget that regardless of the sin someone is walking in, that Christ died for us all. He came to set the captive free.
