Seasonal Sounds #1: Winter

Seasonal Sounds is a seasonal programme which aims to do a sonic interpretation of the current (and coming) season - Both in terms of pace, seasonal events and its characteristics. It combines a variety of musical genres, sonic textures and field recordings in a mix for the season. This Seasonal Sounds edition is dedicated to the cold and heavy season of winter. The season of hibernation, fragile icy textures and a deep thoughtfulness. It is time for great changes in the landscape and slow movements within it. And it is thick layers of untouched snow, which absorb the sounds from the world around us, and make space for the beauty of the introverted state of mind. WINTER.
