Shape+ is a series of mixtapes from artists of the international Shape Network. This episode comes to you from Finnish based artist sofi. sofi is a multidisciplinary sound artist and performer who actively uses modern music technologies such as creative audio coding, ambisonics, live improvisation with modular synthesizers and code, and DIY electronics. This mix is a dynamic journey through experimental music, from 90s Sampladelic Ambient to ritualistic improvisation, sound poetry, collages and fractured rhythms. Listeners are invited to experience variety of sonic expressions from artists such as Mind Moves, DITTOFUSED, Accou and others, who’s unifying element is constant experimentation into the unknown and sonic intimacy.
