Shanquella Robinson was a 25 year old woman from Charlotte, North Carolina, who died under very suspicious circumstances while on vacation with a group of friends in Cabo San Lucas Mexico in October 2022. As clues came in and her friends’ stories changed, developments surrounding the investigation gained significant attention both in the media and online.  The Mexican authorities ruled Shanquella’s death a homicide, but the FBI declined to file charges.
