Photos are back on Instagram! | Episode 18

While Instagram Reels are currently a hot topic in the social media world, image-based posts, meaning good old fashion photos on Instagram, I know we never thought we’d say it again, are now performing well on the platform. We had a hunch this could happen when the head of Instagram Adam Mosseri mentioned they were rolling back how much they were prioritizing video content over other types, and it’s great to see signs that this is really happening. Note, this doesn’t mean Reels are doing worse then photos, just that it’s more equal how any of the post formats might perform now.
