026: The Only Piece of Business Advice I Have For You Right Now

Just because some businesses have been deemed non-essential, does not mean they can’t find safe ways to continue serving their audiences, whether its through video, or podcasts, or emails, or books-- whichever medium you choose to communicate through. Non-essential does not mean unimportant or unneeded. But here’s the thing-- and here’s the advice I want you to keep in mind. Some of us are struggling.  Yes, we are ALWAYS living in an uncertain world. At any given time we could lose an important client or god forbid a loved one, or there could be a natural disaster, you get the gist. Our lives and businesses could be disrupted and uprooted at any given moment regardless of world events-- I understand that. I’m not here to spread fear or unnecessary worry. But I do want to be honest. Things are not “business as usual” right now. So be kind. Be kind to your team. To other business owners. To your clients and customers. Let's get through this together.
