It is really important that midwives listen to and work with women, organisations, and individuals who will enrich their care. The Raham Project was set up for mothers and their partners who have recently used or are currently using maternity services, creating a safe and non-judgemental space for mums and partners to discuss all things related to pregnancy, childbirth, and maternal mental health. Maddie, who is a doula and doula trainer, shares her role in supporting women and also midwives, illustrated by the support for midwives all over the country at the recent March for Midwives.
