Episode 6: International Perspectives on Defamation

In Episode 6, Tom and Paul are joined by scholars from the US, Canada and South Africa to get a range of international perspectives on the public interest defence under the UK’s Defamation Act 2013. There’s also time for Tom and Paul to argue about the Supreme Court’s recent decision about the “meaning” of an allegedly libellous Facebook post in Stocker v Stocker, and to mention the government’s white paper on internet regulation.
