Launch Your Life Podcast - A podcast by Launch Your Life Podcast - Tuesdays

When I was in surgical residency we used to say, “You eat when you can; you sleep when you can.” I picked up this habit where I would just shovel food into my mouth as fast as I could, because we’re supposed to eat on the fly. I’m glad I don’t have to do that anymore. But here’s something you might like to know: Obesity is a hormonal disease. And for women in menopause, putting on a bunch of extra weight can turn into a negative spiral. If you’re still unsure where I’m getting at, I’m saying it’s not your fault if you can’t shift the weight even if you’ve tried so many times. But there are steps for you to take so you can manage hormonal weight gain in menopause. In today’s episode of The Best of The Menopause Movement Podcast, I’m with Dr. Avishkar Sabharwal who is a diplomat of the American Board of Obesity Medicine, and the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine.
