I've read this piece more times that I can remember, but knowing that other women will hear this for the first time, made this experience different. I cried in parts, stumbled upon words, pronounced places and deities incorrectly and then struggled to keep reading when my eyes filled with tears. But I kept going, because it's the story medicine that matters. And I believe Jane's 'Herstory' is something every woman should know.
