He’s Helped Save The Lives of 8 Million People… with Scott Harrison
The Mike Dillard Show - A podcast by Mike Dillard
In 2015, I was sitting on a couch in the great room on Necker Island, watching the incredible blue water and relaxing in the island breeze of the British Virgin Islands.
I was there spending a week with Richard Branson and my peers from Tiger 21, when a gentleman named Scott Harrison walked up to the front of the room to give a presentation about some non-profit he had started called CharityWater.org.
Over the next hour, Scott proceeded to tell one of the most incredible, and emotional stories that I’d ever heard. I’m not going to ruin it for you, because you’re going to hear that story today, but I can say that there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.
At the end of his talk, Richard pulled out his checkbook and handed Scott a check for $100,000.
Since then CharityWater.org has been the primary organization I’ve supported along with other leaders like Gary Vaynerchuk, Tony Hawk, Casey Neistat, and Chris Sacca.
Today you’re going to find out why, and how Scott has completely revolutionized the charity industry, and you might just find the answer to a question we all need to ask, which is, “how can I change the lives of other people who need it the most.
Believe it or not, there are quite a few people out there who aren’t trying to build a business, they don’t have a iPhone, or the ability to download an ebook.
They just need some clean water.
