Damien Fahy of moneytothemasses.com talks to Andy Leeks about money. On this week's podcast Damien has put together a 'House buying special' inspired by his recent house move. Damien talks to Andy, Lauren and Harvey - all of whom have recently bought or sold a property - and they explain their experience using various government schemes and initiatives.  There was so much to talk about, Damien decided to split the podcast into a two-part special and so this podcast focuses on the preparation leading up to a house purchase, getting your finances in shape, whether you should use a mortgage broker and how much you can borrow. Next week Damien will focus on the process of selling your house, putting in an offer, dealing with solicitors and the exchange and completion process.
