So far in this Grow it series you’ve learnt about why you should think about investing, learnt about risk, return and taxation as well as when you should seek the help of a financial adviser and how to find one you can trust. In this episode I want to explain the basics of the account types that most people need in order to grow their wealth. This is the 6th episode of our Grow it series, which is a series that aims to introduce you to investing and growing your wealth. If you’ve watched the first 5 episodes you should understand the benefits of investing as well as understand investment risks, potential returns and taxation. You should also have insight into when you should use a financial adviser to recommend and manage your investments and when you don’t need to. You will also understand the benefit of using a tax wrapper such as a pension or an ISA to protect any profits or income that your investments generate from taxation. If you are going to grow your wealth then you want to keep as much of it as possible.   In this episode I am going to explore how to build an investment portfolio.    Our Grow It series consists of 10 YouTube videos where you can find out everything you need to know about investing.    We will release a new episode every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the month, so make sure you subscribe to the Money to the Masses YouTube channel and don't forget to hit the notifications bell to ensure you get notified as soon as a new video is released.   Please remember, with investing your capital is at risk and the value of investments can go down as well as up, so you may get back less than you invest.   Best Buy Table (Robo-Adviser) - https://moneytothemasses.com/compare/robo-adviser-best-buy-table Best Stocks and Shares ISA - https://moneytothemasses.com/saving-for-your-future/investing/the-best-stocks-and-shares-investment-isa-the-cheapest-fund-platform Best Pension in the UK - https://moneytothemasses.com/saving-for-your-future/pensions/best-pension-in-the-uk 80-20 Investor (Take out a free trial) - https://moneytothemasses.com/become-an-80-20-investor Asset Allocation Calculator - https://moneytothemasses.com/saving-for-your-future/investing/investing-the-best-free-asset-allocation-tool   Thank you to our Grow It sponsors:   Wealthify - For more information about Wealthify, including how to take advantage of our £100 cashback offer, please visit https://www.wealthify.com/mttm.
