The Midwife who Free Birthed and Left the System

Today on The Natural Birth Podcast we have Lucy. Lucy is a Mama to my four from Australia.  She is a certified Doula and a former Midwife who just like me handed in her registration as working in the system was so traumatizing to her and she just couldn’t go on any longer.  She also finally came to the sad conclusion that she was never going to be able to serve women and families authentically while she was tied to the institution, so she left.  Although initially she held a lot of grief around letting this dream of being a Midwife go.. she now feels more aligned and inspired than ever.
