Mel Fenton says she was a bit of a tomboy growing up, she didn’t particularly love school and she just wanted to be outside. But when she decided to go into hairdressing like her mum, her whole life changed. She worked on cruise ships, had her own business and taught hairdressing. She loved beauty products too. But it was only later when she was diagnosed with breast cancer, she thought about starting her own range. In this episode we discuss: How we may feel pigeon-holed but we never really are. How overcoming divorce and three serious illnesses led Mel to a life she truly loves. What to do when life feels really, really tough and we just want to give up.
