Dr Nikki Kanani MBE doesn't need much of an introduction: over the last year she’s become a familiar face to many on the podium at Number 10 and has been one of the busiest GPs in the country. That's because since 2018 she’s been the Medical Director of Primary Care for NHS England and NHS Improvement - the first woman in the role.
