I was sitting here for about 1/2 an hour trying to work out what I wanted to talk to you about today... is overwhelm. It sucked. I am super tired after a massive weekend of sun and laughter and amazing company. I am tired in a way that feels like a full belly and lots of great food type of tired... not 'this is the worst thing ever' type of tired.... But I have also felt quite overwhelmed this morning. When I'm tried I know that I can FEEL like everything is spinning around in my head and it's a bit like I'm in a pit of quicksand and it's dark and I can feel like I can't grasp a single thought, no matter what I do. If you're anything like me or have felt like this... then I'm here to let you know it's not just you, you're not a failure, you're not alone and IT'S OK! I thought I'd talk about this today and share what I personally do to combat this. - #1 is I rely on my routine I still get up at 5.30a, I do my client calls at 6a, I walk a few kms on the tready then go to the gym with my husband. Movement for me gets the endorphins rolling and makes me feel good. I'm obsessed with growing my spaghetti arm biceps and being as strong as I can be... so for me, this morning routine serves two purposes: #1) It gets me moving and gets the endorphins going and #2) It makes me feel good to know I've achieved ONE THING towards my goals. - #2 have some structure. I make sure that I do things ritually and cyclically every day. This provides me with much-needed structure so I can get into the flow zone. I follow this acronym close to every morning: MAVENS. Money Tracking, Agenda checking (my calendar), Voxers checking and responding, Email focus: get my inbox to zero unread emails and reply to all, Notification checking and address anything there and then I allow myself some Scrolling time. - #3 I look at what are 1-3 things you want to actually achieve today? Achieving things - be it small or medium or big things - makes me feel good. Again, it releases those feel-good endorphins. and do that. Then, I think of the next thing that feels aligned and that I can ACHIEVE. Achieving things - be it small or medium or big things - makes me feel good. Again, it releases those feel-good endorphins. Let me know your biggest take away from this :) I trust it helps. ---> Want my personal help with this? STAND UP, STAND OUT and help the millions of people you're here to help! YES YOU! This is the first step. And the second, actually, all rolled up into one kickass fabulous package! Let's do it https://join.nicolamoras.com.au/visible-immersive-experience
