Hello friends. Today, it is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we bring you this episode of "The Pan Dulce Life Mixshow." Earlier this week, our family lost our dear friend and fellow DJ, Jose "Jay" Valdez. On behalf of the entire Pan Dulce Life family, we offer our heartfelt condolences to Jay's family. His memory will forever live in our hearts.Jay was an influential figure and trailblazer in the Latin DJ community, having co-founded the BPM Latino record pool for DJs. He was also one of the very first guests we had on this show and was a resident DJ at Onyx Nightclub in San Diego alongside DJ Refresh. We are super grateful for his contributions.To honor Jay, we're dedicating this episode to him by sharing a mix he recorded around 2010-2011. It consists of house music from that era as well as some throwback jams, and truly showcases Jay's talent as a DJ.
