A question I often get - and I’ve been asked numerous times over the last month or so due to COVID-19 is “Do I need to get testing done before I start making lifestyle changes like what you offer in The PCOS Protocol?”Understandably, this is a question on a lot of people’s minds at the moment who are interested in learning more about their PCOS.Many countries are in some state of lockdown (or in complete lockdown, like we are here in New Zealand) so the access to non-essential testing is either limited or not available at all because of all the man power and resources being used to fight COVID-19. Obviously this makes sense, but it’s put a lot of you who are interested in a position where you aren’t sure if you actually CAN do the Protocol. So for today’s Mini PCOS Pod, I’m clarifying whether you need testing done in order to go through with The PCOS Protocol, whether symptoms are a useful indicator of what your PCOS ‘type’ is and where to go from here.If you’re ready to join us in the Protocol - click here, I can’t wait to meet you, hear about your journey so far and have you as a part of our PCOS family. This episode is for you if:You’re wanting to start making lifestyle changes or join The PCOS Protocol but you don’t have the ability to get testing done.Testing is limited or not able to be done due to COVID-19You want to make changes to your PCOS but you don’t know where to start Some things we cover in this episode:Can we use symptoms alone? Why groupings of systems are so importantShould I do any testing at all?
