In an emotional conversation with Ryan, Fred and Channing, Mike opens up about that day for the first time and courageously takes us through the moments leading up to the senseless attack and the minutes following when he was shot. On a school trip to Washington DC with his classmates, that Sunday started off as a happy day filled with so many positive memories for these young people as they took in important parts of history and spent their time laughing, listening to music and enjoying the opportunity. As the bus returned to school that evening, shots were fired by one of the students on the bus, killing three young men and injuring two others, one being Mike Hollins. Mike takes the guys through this emotional day, how he lost his best friend and teammates to the senseless act, his recovery and approaching each day now with love and purpose.
