47. Ken Allen, Uncovering God’s Story of Hope In Our Lives

Today feels like a treat! I got to dive in with a former colleague of mine, Ken Allen, who is the Executive Director for Denver Area Youth For Christ. Serving almost three decades within the world of events and ministry, Ken is the real deal! He’s a dad of three, a loyal husband and loves the Vikings (although we wont fault him for that;) He’s also passionate about reaching young people and doing incredible things to pursue the next generation of youth. While we dive into Ken’s story and a handful of reflections of pivotal moments in our lives on today’s episode, we also talk about the way God connects with each one of us, how he is a God who comes to us and pursues our hearts right when and where we need it. Youth for Christ works to uncover God’s story of hope. I love how they say “ When we welcome God into a pivotal moment, we invite Him to uncover His story of Hope in our lives, and to give life to our story.
