Some sour grapes from Big Ben?

Ben Roethlisberger said we need to pump the brakes on the Steelers offense. Is this an example of sour grapes from Big Ben? The offense wasn’t perfect in the last two games, but played better defenses than we have let on. Do we need to wait and see a ‘real’ defense? What’s the story – easy schedule or is this offense for real?
