Hannah's waterbirth to Jasper at Birthcare

Hannah’s birth to Jasper is what I would describe as an excellent example of a textbook, normal, positive first birth. Yes, Hannah says it was challenging, it was hard mentally and physically, but it was "manageable, calm and it was amazing". No curveballs, nothing unexpected, just a straightforward example of birth. Hannah had some fears, some worries and a some mental challenges as she moved past 40 weeks, but she did the mindset work. Her and husband Kris did the hypnobirthing course and she practiced and used the tools in her pregnancy. They paid off for her in her birth. You’ll hear about her physical prep with chiropractic care, her stop start early labour phase (so very normal) then how labour progressed and how Hannah convinced her midwife they should come in a little earlier than ideally thought to Birthcare. Hannah shares about the breathing in the pushing phase and meeting Jasper – wide eyed and alert once born. This is a beautiful straight forward wonderful birth story – definitely one to share with all pregnant couples!
