On baby's due date Michelle picked up her 20month old son Leith from daycare at 3pm and by 6.30pm was holding her new baby girl Elliott. In this very smooth home birth story we hear how Michelle felt prepared, she never felt she couldn't cope even though it was an intense and rapid experience However there was a moment of fear when she was alone for a time in her labour - she talks about how the fear impacted on how she felt and then what her midwife said to help her switch back into her sense of calm again. Second time mums who're concerned about who is going to look after their toddler might also be reassured by Michelle's experience - this was a concern for her, but it turned out just fine in the end. Enjoy this inspiring story from Michelle about how she knew she could do it, and, of course, she did!
