Leslie Diuguid joins the podcast today to talk screen printing, both in how she runs her own publishing shop and her day job as a fabricator for Powerhouse Arts in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. We discuss her journey to New York, some of the artists she trained with, and what she's up to now with her publishing operation which goes on after hours and in between her other activities. Family is a huge influence on Leslie's life, and we learn about how her father and grandfather influenced what she does. She discusses her involvement with The Black Women of Print, an online group that shares support for past, current, and future black women printmakers.
