Mike Frisby interviews Toby Spanier, SSAS Property Investor Awards (2020) Finalist

In this episode Mike interviews his long-standing client & friend, Toby Spanier about his property journey.  Mike & Toby met through a networking event that Mike hosted in the City a few years ago and Toby is also part of Mike's Property Business Accelerator Mentorship programme. Toby started investing in property in October 2017 and has since acquired over 50 rental units. He initially focused on HMOs, before branching out into social housing and commercial to residential conversions, financed via SSAS pensions. He invests in the Midlands, London, and the South East.  His latest property strategy is to work closely with local authorities to bring back into use empty or derelict properties, and create new homes for previously homeless families. He has over 20 years management consultancy experience, specialising in financial modelling and strategy, and is a qualified management accountant.
