Joy Reid leads this episode of The ReidOut with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy calling for additional international sanctions against Russia, including boycotting Russian oil. Ukrainian tennis star Sergiy Stakhovsky joins us saying, "They expected they would be welcomed with bread and salt like in Crimea in 2014. Ukraine is a different country." Retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman also had this to say about the apparent quandary over arming Ukraine with aircraft: "We are overthinking this. These aircraft, the biggest hurdle is getting them across the border. We should just push them across. The Ukrainians can operate them and do what they need to." We also analyze the situation inside Russia, and how particularly young people are likely shocked at how much has changed in just two weeks. Finally, Joy Reid ends our show observing, "There is a lot of soul-searching we need to do in Western media about why some wars, and lives, seem to matter more than others." All this and more in this edition of The ReidOut on MSNBC.
