For my Birthday I'm super excited to have Lisette Lavergne on the podcast for this #29DaysofMagic! She is the Founder and CEO of Lisette Lavergne Law PC. She shares about her first awesome job babysitting similar to how her mom had. She shares that she double majored in theater arts and political science. She shares about her decision to work as a performing artist with the George Street Playhouse Touring company to do social plays that called out problems like discrimination and others like alcoholism. She mentions how she got into law school at Rutgers Law and how amazingly diverse the community was and how all the diverse groups came together. She shares how important community has been to her for her whole life, and the struggles of being a first generation immigrant and one of the few like her at a big and prestigious law firm, but how she in spite of the challenges there, grew so much.
