The Rest Is...Influencer Marketing & Accountability Online (With Hannah O'Donoghue-Hobbs)

This week, Jacki and Lyle are joined by the fantastic Hannah O'Donoghue-Hobbs. Hannah is a freelance Social Media Manager & Trainer, with experience in helping businesses put their best foot forward online. She has previously been the Social Media Coordinator at Cosatto, working to create and implement their social media strategy across the UK, Ireland, Spain and Germany, and prior to that she was a Digital Marketing Executive at the Fuller Research Group. She has also held roles at Manchester-based organisation Research Opinions, Access SUMMIT and The Co-operative Banking Group, and started her professional life as a care worker before moving into the world of social media and digital advertising. Hannah talks to Jacki and Lyle about her career so far, including how furlough during the pandemic had the unusual effect of spurring her to start her on to go freelance, including offering social media consultancy to local businesses. This led to her founding 'Hannah Is Social' (a name she isn't a massive fan of any more, but that we love!) Jacki praises Hannah for her ability to juggle her freelance career with being a full-time mum, and Hannah opens up about her appearance on GB News, where she discussed accountability online and Elon Musk's offer to cover legal fees for anyone sacked as a result of their activity on the platform 'X'.
