One mugshot is worth millions of dollars in fundraising to every political party. One side plays the ‘persecution’ card, the other plays the ‘danger to democracy’ card, and yet others play the ‘don’t trust them, donate to us’ card. It is a peculiar thing that the party always talking about how every group is marginalized would invoke the 14th-Amendment to bar a former President from holding office, when that same amendment guarantees equal rights to all Americans, and arguably prevents the government from doing what they did three years ago. It’s really only the word ‘insurrection’ in that amendment anyone is concerned with, while they ignore the context, or that Congress can override such disqualification to hold office, or that there must be a conviction first. Instead, the party of democracy is actively campaigning on the news, in Florida, and with the SOC in New Hampshire to keep a candidate off the ballot for President based on a court date set 7 months out with no guarantee of any conviction. The conviction they are concerned with appears to be in the minds of the public, wherein lack of basic constitutional or civic knowledge has been highly weaponized. This is the most basic and blatant election interference. To top that off, the Biden Administration has insisted that white people are a threat to America, which has really become a pseudonym for so many things not American. Meanwhile, a federal lawsuit just found the then vice-president was using pseudonyms to conduct business with his son and associates.
