The episode starts off a little dark with an update on the Gabby Petito missing persons case, as a body was recently found that matches her description. Alex discusses past issues between Gabby and her significant other, who refused to cooperate and has now run off and gone missing, and wonders if the missing significant other is responsible for this potential murder case. Afterwards, Alex rants about people trying to cancel Norm Macdonald literally two days after he died from cancer, because he made some jokes that made them feel uncomfortable.
