It was a pretty crazy week, starting with Joe Biden seemingly falling asleep during an international climate conference, that was fun to see, wasn't it? Elections happened and democrats lost in the Virginia gubernatorial race, as well as losing many other elections, and there are consequences to come because of this. Then Alex rants about billionaires not paying taxes but everyone else's bank accounts being monitored by the government checking for gifts, wire transfers, and side hustles to squeeze extra taxes out of working class people. Elon Musk recently dangled enough money to end world hunger over the United Nations' heads which was infuriating. Also, Pete Davidson is now an American hero, since it was reported that he's dating Kim Kardashian. What a legend, good for him. In other celebrity news, the Astroworld festival in Texas went horribly, and eight people have died because of trampling incidents and more, with Travis Scott being at the center of the blame for a poorly-managed event. Speaking of disasters in Texas, Senator Ted Cruz started a legit beef with Sesame Street's own, Big Bird. You think that's a joke? Well, it's not. Alex has a lot to say about our favorite senator's current feud with a fictional puppet over vaccinations. Because that's America, where elected officials fight with muppets. Since the democrats get roasted at the beginning of the episode, it's only fair to make fun of republicans for all the dumb things they've been up to, so Alex roasts Fox News for a little while. Then there are some new Karen incidents to go over, and a complicated relationship advice segment. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices
