Fan is short for fanatic. One of my favorite quotes from today’s episode with cartoonist, Scott Shaw. Scott takes time out of his day to chat with me about the conception of San Diego Comic Convention (SDCC). As well as highlights of his works in the cartoon and comic field. Scott is an award-winning animation producer, director, writer, cartoonist, and pop culture expert. He’s worked on everything from Jim Hansen’s Muppet Babies and the Flinstones, to the Simpsons Comics. It was a pleasure to discuss the ins and outs of the industry as well as the evolution of animation with Scott. I also got some great tips on what to see at the 50th anniversary of SDCC. Being that Scott was one of the co-founders I figured I would ask him for some tips. Scott knows funny and had me laughing throughout this episode. I hope you laugh along with us today.
