We discuss the high rate of suicide amongst AAPI college students and how ways to raise awareness for mental health. I really enjoyed my conversation with these two phenomenal women and am grateful to learn more about their immigrant stories and journey to becoming passionate psychologists. Dr. Hsu is a renowned public speaker, educator, and clinician who draws from her own lived experience as a bi-cultural, bi-lingual immigrant. She is the founder of Hella Mental Health and serves in leadership positions for several psychological associations. Dr. Catherine Teotico, Psy.D. (she/her) is currently a post-doctoral fellow at UCLA Counseling and Psychological Services who specializes in working with Asian-Americans, immigrants, first-generation college students, international students, and students of color. (she/her) received her doctoral degree from William James College. She is currently a post-doctoral fellow at UCLA Counseling and Psychological Services. Dr. Teotico specializes in working with Asian-Americans, immigrants, first-generation college students, international students, and students of color. She has led numerous group therapies, including Asian-American Community, Asian International Students, and Immigration-Impacted Students Support Groups. Dr. Teotico currently serves on the Asian American Mental Health and International Student Mental Health Committees at UCLA CAPS. Most recently, she has been conferred a Leadership Fellowship from the national Asian-American Psychology Association for her work with Asian-Americans. Dr. Helen Hsu Helen is a Director of Outreach, Asian American specialist, and lecturer at Stanford University. She is the President-elect of the American Psychological Association Div. 45 (Society for the Study of Race, Culture, and Ethnicity) a past president of the Asian American Psychological Association (AAPA),
