334. Hoon Lee on writing and acting in Warrior Season 3

Hoon Lee returns to discuss his experience making the jump from actor to writer on season 3 of the hit HBOMAX show Warrior. He shares his take on the Writer’s Guild of America strike and thoughts on AI in the creative space. I could listen to Hoon speaks all day. He philosophizes without trying. I enjoyed our conversation on the exercise of acting, writing, singing, and dancing. We also touch upon the state of AAPI representation in film.‌ Hoon also shares his thought process for writing on Warrior season 3. My AAPI history bill for required instruction in K-12 schools in Florida just passed the legislature and during AAPI Heritage Month!
