Michael Jamorski on his journey as a Hollywood stuntman Michael Jamorski is known for his work on Avengers: Endgame, Black Panther, Jurassic World, Into the Badlands and several other Hollywood films. He is a Wah Lum kung fu student that trained under Sifu George Kee, my cousin who they modeled Captain Shang Li from in Mulan. Michael shares some of the changes in the industry since CGI, AI and the advancement of visual effects. He is paying it forward by offering free stunt training workshops for the new generation of stunt performers. If you are interested in learning more about it, check out his workshop coming in February! ([email protected]) It’s fitting that my first guest of 2023 is a Wah Lum family member. I loved hearing about his journey as a stuntman, martial artist and fight coordinator. It is fascinating to hear how the principles of kung fu apply to his work as a stunt performer. I’m loving these conversations and hope you are too. If you are, please rate my podcast on your platform of choice and share it with others!
