Episode 130: Little Al D'Arco

The Sit Down: A Crime History Podcast - A podcast by Better Than Vegas, Inc - Wednesdays

This week on the show I delve into the life of Lucchese acting boss Alphone "Little Al" D'Arco. Al was an old school Brooklyn guy who worked his way up in the Mafia becoming a made man in the early 80's and 6 years later finding himself as acting boss. He then would face a decision after he believed the violent Anthony Casso was trying to kill him. He would become the first boss to testify against the Mob. A truly fascinating story. In the first part of the show, I also discuss the recent passing of Bonanno mobster Vinny Asaro.  Like cigars?
