The Long Night w/ Noemie Lopian

The Sod's Law Podcast - A podcast by GoldBean Studios

This week I’m talking to the wonderful Noemie Lopian. Noemie is a former GP-turned world-renowned Holocaust educator, and founder of Holocaustmatters.org, who, as the daughter of two holocaust survivors has dedicated her life to making sure human stories and lessons learned from the Holocaust will never be forgotten. Noemie’s father, Ernst Israel Bornstein was a survivor of seven Nazi labour and death camps during WW2, and of an extended family of 72 people was one of only 6 that survived. Ernst died of a heart condition in 1978, leaving behind his wife Renee, three children and a memoir of his experiences… called Der Lange Nacht, or The Long Night. Noemie has translated The Long Night into many languages and continues to do so in order to bring her father's story to light.
