#68: Hounds of Love by Kate Bush (with our special guest, Brad Efford!)

We're taking a look at Kate Bush, and her iconic Hounds of Love album. We'll be talking about why this album resonated in the UK, but not as much in the USA. We'll talk about how her sound was created and both transcends time, but also sounds firmly planted in the 80s. We've had so much fun with Brad Efford (creator of the fantastic RS500 project), that he becomes our first three-time guest! Brad joined us initially for our review of Trout Mask Replica, and then when we responded to the news of the new 2020 list, and now for this one - an album he calls his favorite of all time! As a reminder, you can find our favorite songs from the RS500 on our Spotify playlist right here - we'll be updating it as we go with our favorite songs from each album! You can check out Rolling Stone's new 2020 list right here. We'd love it if you would review us in your favorite podcast app, and while you're at it, give us a like on our Facebook Page or Instagram, follow us on Twitter, and send us a message if you have any comments or questions. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/soundlogic/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/soundlogic/support
