051 - Combining the right property and support to help homeless veterans with Andrew Powell

In this episode Andrew Powell talks about his model for supporting veterans with mental health support needs, he shares how Healthier Heroes combines property and support to help veterans transition to take on their own tenancy. He describes the types of property that have helped this organisation sucessfully support many homeless veterans since they opened their flagship building a year ago (On 7th Dec). Andrew Powell is a Co-Founder and Managing Director of Bancroft House, Healthier Heros CIC is an infantry ex-Army Colour Sergeant with a successful 16-year career and experience of multiple conflicts will be the Strategic Lead on the proposed project. He is also the lead Peer mentor for the most complex beneficiaries for the current programme with a good insight to Clinical interventions and procedures, as well as providing a very high standard of supported housing support process.
