Foraging Ethics: another great conversation with Lorna of Ninebark Farm

Foraging , gleaning, wild crafting.  In this episode we are so happy to have Lorna from Ninebark Farm back with us to have a good discussion about the the ethics (and legalities) of foraging.  As flower farmer-florists, foraging of materials to supplement  bouquets or designs may be a temptation, especially to achieve the naturalistic looks that have been so popular.   We hope this conversation helps you to think about all the puts and takes around this practice and informs your decisions to do so.  We also hope that it might encourage you to explore options that build relationships with your fellow farmers and the natural world and that expand your growing skills!
