Raya and the Last Dragon

Dawson, Hannah, and Philip welcome Courtny Schultz onto the podcast to discuss the new release from Walt Disney Animation Studios, 'Raya and the Last Dragon.' Available via purchase on Disney+ and in theaters, 'Raya' is the first Disney animated feature of the 2020s and was directed by Don Hall and Carlos López Estrada, with Disney story veterans Paul Briggs and John Ripa credited as co-directors. Raya is the daughter of Chief Benja in the Heart region of the kingdom of Kumandra. This warrior princess must unite the five tribes of Kumandra to defeat the vicious Druun, who turn any human or dragon they touch to stone. To do so, she must locate the rumored last dragon, who has ostensibly been asleep for the past 500 years.
