Larry Center has a degree in philosophy and is interested in the relationship between humans and animals, believing there is a gap that can be filled where communication between the two is concerned. Center is eager to observe the world through a broad lens that questions reality as we know it, believing there is more than meets the eye. His intrigue in the language of children and their communication with the world around them, thereof, is what drove him to convey his notions of a language barrier being bridged between humans and animals through his book, Like No Other Boy.
