Growing up in the 80s in the US meant being awestruck and beholden to MTV. Seeing artists from all over the world bring their music, color and performances to the small screen opened up the world to those trying to navigate the suburbs. For our generation, Duran Duran was as close as we got to the 2nd coming of The Beatles with their fashion, sound and innovative videos. To wrap up an amazing summer concert series at Hyde Park in London which included two Rolling Stones shows for The Wolf, he took The Wolf Cub so she could dance to her favorite 80s tunes. A little warmer than the first two weekends, we navigated the sun, the groups of moms on a night out and those nostalgic for the heyday of their youth. Hear about Nile Rodgers jumping on stage for a couple of songs, how Nick Rhodes may have misfired A View To A Kill a song early, about the lovely and talented Anna Ross and Rachael O'Connor and how we made our escape. It was a colorful and fun night in London!
