Episode 86 - Georgie's story - First Time Mum's Homebirth with Low PAPP A

The Ultimate Birth Partner Podcast - A podcast by Sallyann Beresford - Sundays

In this week's episode, I am chatting to Georgie who gives us a full and frank account of her preparation for birth and the journey she went on when deciding how and where to have her baby. She also explains why she felt it was so important to prepare her partner. Georgie describes the way she discovered she had low PAPP A and how she was able to advocate for herself when choosing to decline an induction of labour - which was the recommendation by her care provider. This fabulous story of a beautiful birth experience, was carried over into the postnatal period where we hear what she learned in those early days as a new mum. I was delighted to get to chat to Georgie again and re-cap on her story. There is no doubt that her confidence grew as she learned more about her options, and she developed her own philosophies of birth that felt right for her and her partner.    If you would like to buy a copy of either of the books that accompany this podcast please go to your online bookseller or visit Amazon:-Labour of Love - The Ultimate Guide to Being a Birth Partner - click here:-https://bit.ly/LabourofloveThe Art of Giving Birth - Five Key Physiological Principles - https://amzn.to/3EGh9dfPregnancy Journal for 'The Art of Giving Birth' - Black and White version https://amzn.to/3CvJXmOPregnancy Journal for 'The Art of Giving Birth'- Colour version https://amzn.to/3GknbPFYou can find all my classes and courses on my website - www.sallyannberesford.co.uk Follow me on Instagram @theultimatebirthpartner Book a 1-2-1 session with Sallyann - https://linktr.ee/SallyannBeresford Please remember that the information shared with you in this episode is solely based on my own personal experiences as a doula and the private opinions of my guests, based on their own experiences.
