Intimate Landscape Photography - Seeing the Smaller Picture

The Understand Photography Show - A podcast by Understand Photography

Charlotte Gibb is well-known for her Intimate landscape photography. She gives us great insight and ideas for creating our own intimate landscapes. It could be a small section of a vast landscape or even an abstract view on a smaller scale. Slow down enough to the point that you can notice things. Bring a sense of curiosity and playfulness to it. When you see a grand landscape, zero in to photograph smaller pieces of the landscape. Using a telephoto lens is a great option to photograph little snippets of the grander landscape. Think about the visual story you are trying to tell.
